Southpaw's extensive development included the screening and selection of germ plasm at research facilities in the Mid Atlantic and Southeast seaboard.

Southpaw Turf -Type Tall Fescue will perform well anywhere tall fescue is grown, especially in high stress Southern and Eastern locations. Sun, shade, heat, high humidity. . . plant Southpaw wherever a top quality lower maintenance turfgrass is required.

Entered in the latest National Trials (NTEP), Southpaw is a dark green, fine textured turfgrass. Southpaw germinates quickly and has excellent seedling vigor. This new turfgrass maintains its dark green color throughout the season. Its lower growth habit reduces mowing requirements, and it's excellent turf density will help choke out weeds.

Developed with a broad genetic diversity, Southpaw has excellent resistance to brown patch, rust, net blotch, pythium and red thread. Look for this new Turf Type Tall Fescue to surpassed recent top rated varieties in the next NTEP.
