FSG403LR Alfalfa

  • Superior lodging resistance
  • Maximum forage yield, high forage quality
  • Easier harvest
  • Aphanomyces Race 2 resistance
  • Greater standability to mid-bloom

FSG 403LR alfalfa represents the latest generation of lodging resistant alfalfas with very fast recovery after cutting. FSG 403LR’s improved standability allows the plant to remain upright well into bloom, providing harvest flexibility while preserving valuable yield and forage quality. Conventional alfalfa varieties typically lodge by early bloom, resulting in higher harvest costs, lower yields and decreased forage quality. This new alfalfa offers maximum stand persistence and a complete pest and disease package including resistance to Aphanomyces Race 2. FSG 403LR is recommended for alfalfa growers who manage their alfalfa on a three to five cut harvest system. Excellent stand persistence
