High forage yield potentialFSG 903 is a non-dormant, winter active alfalfa with strong autumn and spring growth as well as very fast recovery after cutting or grazing. FSG 903 has a higher leaf to stem ratio, particularly close to the crown of the plant, when compared to other alfalfa varieties. The high leaf to stem ratio near the crown increases overall protein and digestibility especially for intensive cutting managemnt schedules or closely grazed pastures. FSG 903 is adapted to all areas of the United States and Mexico where Fall Dormancy 9 alfalfa varieties are grown.
