ASP6003 Turf Type Perennial Ryegrass was developed using germplasm that was extensively screened for summer heat and winter cold tolerance plus resistance to Brown Patch, Pythium, and Grey Leafspot.

ASP6003 maintains a dense, fine textured turf during the hot and humid summers. ASP6003 was selected for resistance to snow mold and winter damage that can occur during extended periods of cold with snow cover.

ASP6003 is low growing and can be closely mowed.
